About the job

As part of our recent rebrand to CoAd, we’re energized by what’s ahead — a bold new chapter built on more than 30 years of workforce management expertise, reimagined for how businesses want to work today. We’re looking for our next HCM Sales Executive to help us bring that story to market. The Sales Executive’s primary mission is new business development: relentlessly prospecting, identifying, and engaging net-new customers through outbound calls, strategic visits, and targeted outreach. Sales Executives are hunters at the forefront of winning new logos, showcasing CoAd’s innovative products through compelling technical presentations and demonstrations. Unlike many competitors, CoAd does not segment territories by employee count — Sales Executives can pursue opportunities of any size, giving them expansive territories and the freedom to build and grow their own market.

At CoAd, we are seeking those excited to build, create, and innovate. We are problem-solvers who move quickly, collaborate with agility and differentiate through people, purpose and commitment!

Responsibilities:

  • Sell technical services, products, and systems to meet and exceed new-business sales targets, with new-logo acquisition as the primary measure of success
  • These targets are driven by new logos generated through cold calling and COI relationships
  • Identify and engage potential new customers through strategic visits and calls
  • Create and conduct technical presentations and demos to showcase current and future products
  • Utilize technical expertise to understand and gather customer requirements, prepare specifications, and generate quotes
  • Address technical objections and concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements
  • Own an expansive, unsegmented sales territory — with no restrictions on prospect company size — and take full initiative to build and grow your own market through outbound calling, referrals, and personal and professional networks
  • Represent CoAd at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to build a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new-business sales quotas for your assigned territory
  • Consistently build and manage a robust pipeline of net-new prospects to ensure predictable, sustained new-logo growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience selling in the HCM industry or in technical sales
  • Ability to prospect for new logos utilizing CRM software like ZoomInfo and Salesforce.com, as well as presentation tools
  • Ability to strategically build new COI relationships from the ground up, leveraging them as a consistent source of net-new referral business and warm introductions
  • Skilled in cold calling techniques to initiate contact with potential clients
  • Proven ability to identify and acquire new customers through targeted strategies
  • Skilled in both inside and outside sales, closing deals remotely and in person
  • Skill in delivering dynamic product demos that showcase key features and benefits
  • Proficient in strategic prospecting methods to identify and qualify potential leads
  • Ability to prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements and market conditions
  • Self-starter with a persistent, resilient mindset who can sustain high daily outbound activity and cold call without fear of rejection
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new-business sales quotas in a competitive, quota-driven environment
